Pete Tong to host monthly industry party at new Life Nightclub

Life Nightclub at SLS, the newest addition to the Las Vegas dance club scene, will welcome Pete Tong as curator of a monthly industry party beginning Sun., Oct. 5.

Having been one of the first DJs to hold a Las Vegas residency, Tong will return to Sin City this fall during “All Gone Pete Tong” industry parties as part of Underground Sundays at Life Nightclub.

Consistent with the name, the party will put a spotlight on lesser-heard sounds at Vegas nightclubs, including those from Eric Prydz’ techno alter-ego Cirez D, house icon Sasha, and Detroit pioneer Seth Troxler.

“LiFE allows underground dance music to flourish,” said Tong.

“It’s five years since Vegas caught the dance bug. The scene has grown and matured and it feels at a point where people are ready for something different. I’m looking to build a community and vibe that’s a little sexier and darker, not quite so polished.”

Joining Tong is Cirez D on Oct. 5, Seth Troxler on Oct. 26, and Sasha on Nov. 23.

The theme for All Gone Pete Tong at SLS is “Decadent Rebellion,” a nod to Vegas’s extravagance and glitz, but with a slight twist of subversion.

Production and design will be handled by Romain Pissenem from Ibiza’s iconic Ushuaia club, who also art directed Luciano’s Vagabundos campaign. He’ll be creating a bespoke environment at Life, tailor-made to explore the edgier reaches of dance music.

Life Nightclub at SLS is a multi-level venue boasting 60-foot ceilings, three full-service bars, 70 VIP tables, mesmerizing performers and aerialists, and an open-air rooftop pool. It’s open Friday, Saturday, and Sundays starting at 10:30 p.m.
