Looking to break into the bar and nightclub business or grow an existing operation? The Nightclub & Bar Convention and Trade Show will again be the largest annual gathering of industry professionals when it returns to the Las Vegas Convention Center on March 26, 27, and 28, 2018.
The 33rd annual event will showcase hundreds of exhibitors and offer workshops and keynotes covering the latest industry topics and trends. A variety of special offsite and exclusive “bootcamp” learning sessions will also be available, in addition to networking opportunities, bartender and DJ competitions, tours of top Las Vegas venues, and more.
One of the 2018 keynote panels focuses on the popularity and growth of e-Sports, and will include industry leaders discussing how this disruptive innovation is impacting the bar and nightlife industry and how businesses can capitalize on the new trend.
Dave Gruman, the “King of Miami Nightlife,” will deliver another keynote, where he’ll share share stories of his rise from a green bartender to one of the industry’s leading experts.
A ribbon-cutting and red-carpet event will open the expo floor on March 27 with industry and local celebrites, as well as NFL Analyst and CEO Quarterback Ron Jaworski.
Workshops of interest include “How to Kill Social Media and Brand Your Biz like a Kardashian,” “Are You Serving the Right Music,” “Engaging the Experience Economy & Live Streaming,” “History of the Cocktail,” “Cannabis Beverage Trends,” and many more.
Special add-on bootcamps will include mixology lessons and behind-the-scenes tours of Omnia Nightclub, Wynn Nightlife’s venues, and Sapphire Gentlemen’s Club.
Judged competitions include a “Shake it Up!” event for mixologists and bartenders on March 27, na “Art of the DJ” showcase on March 28, and a “Nightclub & Bar Pitch Tank” with live product pitches in front of industry gurus on March 28.
The convention’s nightlife events include a kickoff party at Foxtail Pool at SLS, and nightly events at Hakkasan Nightclub at MGM Grand, XS Nightclub at Encore, Stoney’s Rockin’ Country at Treasure Island, Omnia Nightclub at Caesars Palace, Hyde Nightclub at Bellagio, and Level Up, the social gaming lounge at MGM Grand.
