EDC Las Vegas expands to two weekends in 2027

On the heels of the 30th anniversary celebration of Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) Las Vegas last weekend, Insomniac today announced the festival will expand to two consecutive weekends in 2027.

Calling it a “Dusk Til Dawn” concept, fans can choose to attend the first weekend (aka “EDC Dusk”) May 14-16, 2027, the second weekend (aka “EDC Dawn”) May 21-23, 2027, or even both weekends for the full “Dusk Till Dawn Experience.”

With the expansion to two weekends, the 2027 festival is being designed to have a lower capacity, providing more space on the dance floor and potentially making travel and accommodations easier. The lineup, production, and overall experience is expected to be similar across both weekends. Camp EDC and Hotel EDC will also return for both.

Additional EDC-themed events will be held throughout Las Vegas during the 12-day span alongside EDC Week.

“We wanted to reimagine EDC as a new type of immersive journey across 12 days and two consecutive weekend celebrations in one city we love,” said Insomniac Founder Pasquale Rotella.

“This concept gives Headliners the freedom to choose their own path and join us for one or both weekends, while enabling us to continue evolving, experimenting creatively, and sharing new moments Under the Electric Sky.”
