What’s new & noteworthy at EDC Vegas 2026

Electric Daisy Carnival weekend is upon us yet again and hundreds of thousands of eager fans will flock to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway to celebrate the 30th anniversary of what’s grown into one of the planet’s largest dance music festivals.

The festival will host 18 unique music areas, ranging from large-scale stages and art cars to secret themed rooms and brand activations. Over 200 artists are set to perform throughout the three-day event.

Even if you’re a seasoned EDC-goer, the festival is constantly growing and evolving so there’s always something new to explore. Here’s what’s new and noteworthy this year:

  • Before the festival begins, the all-new World Party Parade serves as a proper kick-off to the celebration on Thursday evening. The parade will take over a portion of the Las Vegas Strip with over 30 art cars, sounds systems, and hundreds of performers. It’s free and open to all ages.
  • This year’s theme is Kinetic Journey, reflecting on the past 30 years of Electric Daisy Carnival and the vibrant community it fosters.
  • Seven stages are getting a full design makeover: Kinetic Field, Circuit Grounds, Neon Garden, Stereo Bloom, Basspod, Quantum Valley, and Wasteland.
  • The new Insomniac Fridays themed area pays tribute to the early underground dance music scene in Los Angeles. Performing artists include Steve Loria, Frankie Bones, Donald Glaude, Fester, Oscure & Thee-O, and Reid Speed.
  • The appy hardcore-focused ‘Picnic Playtime‘ art car will debut. Hosted by Ravewave, look forward to performances by Flapjack, 99Jakes, Lucky Rabbit, and more.
  • The new Takis Zone will feature drum and bass acts Skanka, Justin Hawkes, Fallen, Nightstalker, and more.
  • Factory 93’s Neon Garden will feature a takeover by Time Warp on Friday.
  • Wasteland will be hosted by Unreal Germany on Friday.
  • The Ubuntu stage returns for a second year. A collab with South Africa’s Bridge for Music nonprofit, the stage will feature afro house performances from both students and established South African artists.
  • Insomniac Radio will broadcast live from their new M.A.R.S. Studio on the festival grounds. The space will also serve as the backdrop for “EDC Afters,” a new daily recap show on Youtube featuring Kaskade, Pasquale Rotella, and more on Saturday and Sunday night.
  • Select performances from Camp EDC will be featured on Insomniac Radio for the first time. They’ll also host the pirate ship stage at camp, which will have open decks for fans each day.
  • Sets from the festival will continue to stream on Insomniac TV and Insomniac Radio, with a simulcast planned on Apple Music’s new Club Radio.
  • Wedding ceremonies will again take place all weekend — both legal unions and non-legal commitment ceremonies and vow renewals.
  • Downtown EDC returns with themed rooms and bars, games, and roaming performers.
  • Outside of the festival, Hotel EDC is taking over Virgin Hotels Las Vegas. The hotel has been completely re-themed as guests enjoy daytime pool parties, wellness sessions, special pop-up events, and limited-edition merch gift bags. The Almighty Wall, a new sculptural work by Tef Foo, will also debut.
  • Maverick Helicopers has offered rides from the Strip to the Speedway for many years, but they’ve also added a 10-minute “Electric Sky Flight” which picks up and returns right from the festival grounds.
  • EDC Week continues to serve up a full roster of events all week long at 18 dayclubs, nightclub, and event spaces throughout Las Vegas.
  • We’ve created a roundup of many other special events, pop-up shops, and EDC-weekend promotions happening across Las Vegas.
