Steve Angello departs LiFE, reveals new Omnia residency

Steve Angello is moving on from his gig at LiFE Nightclub at SLS to kickstart a new exclusive residency at Omnia at Caesars Palace.

“I was really blown away when I first saw the venue,” said Angello in a press release. “As much as it’s a spectacle, I felt the intimacy in the room. Looking forward to the next chapter.”

The new residency begins with a performance on Aug. 4, with other performances planned on Aug. 16, 21, 25, and Sept. 12.

Angello’s departure is a tough blow for LiFE Nightclub, who signed the DJ and producer to a two-year “Reflections” residency deal last October and served as a headlining DJ on the nightclub’s roster.

A member of the now-split Swedish House Mafia, Angello joins an all-star list of talent at Omnia including Calvin Harris, Nicky Romero, Armin van Buuren, Afrojack, Martin Garrix, Axwell, Krewella, and more.
