Deadmau5 kicks off Insomniac concert series May 21 in Downtown Las Vegas

Insomniac Events today announced Deadmau5 will perform at the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center on Fri., May 21.

Nero (DJ set) and No Mana will open the show. Tickets go on sale at 11 a.m. PT tomorrow, Tues., May 11. The event is open to ages 18+.

In compliance with local regulations, masks are required and attendees must show proof of at least one vaccine dose or a negative COVID-19 test taken no more than 48 hours prior to the show.

The show takes place on what would have been the first day of Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) Las Vegas 2021 (now postponed to October). It also marks the return of live events at the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center (near Fremont Street) since the pandemic forced shutdowns last March.

This is the first of a series of events Insomniac is planning over two weekends in Las Vegas. More events will be announced in the coming days.

“We’ve been doing everything we can to bring happiness and live music back into peoples’ lives, and I’m so excited that we’re finally able to create that experience again,” said Pasquale Rotella, founder and CEO of Insomniac in a press release.

“This is just the beginning of the magic and energy we plan to bring back to the beautiful city of Las Vegas.”
