This week Las Vegas said goodbye to a legend — The Mirage. The Strip’s first mega-resort opened Nov. 22, 1989 and closed July 17, 2024. The property will be transformed into Hard Rock Las Vegas, complete with a massive guitar-shaped hotel. It’s set to open in Spring 2027.
While The Mirage may have had its last call, we’ll be toasting to its legacy and what’s yet to come all weekend long.
