EDC Week surrounds one of the largest gatherings of EDM fans in the country: Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC), set for June 21-23, 2013. EDC Week is filled with pre and post-parties at some of Vegas’s hottest day and night spots.
Though Vegas is well known for casinos and lavish nightclubs, the daytime pool party has become just as popular.
Pool parties typically run from late morning (11 a.m.) through early evening (6 p.m.) and DJs perform at these daytime parties just as they would nightclubs. Swim wear is almost always required, though it’s more of a water-surrounded party than it is any sort of swimming activity.
There are some pool parties now extending later into the evening, like the Eclipse party at Daylight Beach Club (Mandalay Bay) and Splash Dance at Surrender (Encore).
